The Gatwick School needs you!

Are you a business based in Manor Royal? Could you be a work experience hero and inspire the next generation?

There are some keen students from The Gatwick School who haven’t yet found a work experience placement for 10th -14th June. It’s important that every student finds a place, especially as some face more disadvantage than others when it comes to accessing networks.

Work experience increases teamwork, communication skills, problem-solving, confidence, and time management. Evidence shows that these are exactly the kinds of skills that young people acquire when they get meaningful experience of the workplace and are also what employers want to see more of in their workforce.

So, by offering a work experience opportunity is a way to:  

• contribute to the skills and experience of future employees;
• transform the aspirations of local young people; and
• showcase your business to your community.
