People Awards
Recognising someone who is genuinely committed to “giving back” to their local community. Perhaps they have raised, or helped to raise, a lot of money for good causes, maybe they have given up a lot of their own time to support a local charity or they might show outstanding commitment to volunteer at a local school or community group. This person really stands out and deserves to be recognised for the support they voluntarily give to the community.
ENTER COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION AWARD HERE
Is there an individual in your business who is truly inspiring in terms of their commitment to the environment and reducing their carbon footprint or that of the business? Perhaps they have changed their behaviour recently (*) or been instrumental in bringing about change in your company that has significantly benefited the environment, or maybe they have inspired others to make a positive change. This person ought to be recognised for their commitment to the environment and stands as an inspiration to us all.
(*) “Recently” means the previous twelve months.

No one is a saint but some people standout for the kindness they show others. Perhaps there is someone in your organisation who always thinks of others. They are a brilliant team mate who always seems to put others first, who shows empathy and brings out the best in the people around them. They could be a colleague or a manager who you would really miss if they weren’t there and that, without them, the place just wouldn’t be the same. Kindness is a sometimes under-appreciated quality and this person should be celebrated for having this in bucket-loads.

Is there someone in your business, a colleague or employee, who has proven themselves to be a devoted and committed individual over many years who deserves celebrating? They have proven themselves both highly professional and loyal to the company an act as a role model of dedication and service.

Does your business really care for its employees? Do they have programmes in place to support employee wellbeing and show genuine commitment to making everyone feel valued and included? They may not always get everything right, but this is the sort of company almost everyone enjoys working for and do things that other companies could learn from.

Does your company think “beyond profit” to encourage volunteering, support local charities and good causes, employ local people or makes conscious decisions to use local suppliers? That’s the kind of company that ought be recognised for really caring about its social value impact.

Does your company demonstrate a genuine commitment to improving the environment? Perhaps it has introduced a new initiative to increase recycling, reduce waste or to generate more of its energy from renewables? Maybe it has done something on-site to improve its landscaping, increase biodiversity, support nature or encourage employees to travel more sustainably. This company really shows it cares about the impact it has on the environment and makes positive steps to reducing its carbon footprint.
