Endeavour House Undergoes Extensive Refurbishment
When Endeavour House was in need of extensive refurbishment works, Croudace Properties turned to RDJW Architects. A new entrance area was designed to give the development a more impressive feel, achieved by creating a new double height space and stripping back the existing reception space. Once planning consent had been granted, detailed work commenced on the new entrance along with the refurbishment of the building as a whole.
The project was tendered by RDJW and a contract awarded to Tangent Projects. Tangent adopted BIM technology allowing the landlord to receive visualisations of work areas in 2D, 3D and virtual reality. This enabled them to make changes before works commenced, locating ducts, pipes and other services without having to remove structure within the building. This software is also able to create speculative space plans with a virtual walk through for specific prospective Tenant requirements.
Endeavour House now provides high quality, flexible and excellently serviced accommodation that is suitable for trouble-free, low-cost occupation for many years to come.
Aaron Glover at Croudace Properties said: "We have completely renewed a tired 1990's building. Crawley Business Quarter is the office heart of Manor Royal and Endeavour has been refurbished to a standard that reflects this. The transformation is striking and the final design and quality have exceeded our agents' expectations".
