Free Tips and Training at the Manor Royal Careers Expo
Anyone seeking a new role, their first job or local training or apprenticeships opportunities will not want to miss the new and free-to-attend Manor Royal Careers Expo taking place on 17 May 2018 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Crawley from 3pm to 8.00pm.
People are encouraged to turn up at any time during the event as there is no need to book and free parking is available on site.
Delivered by the Manor Royal BID and supported by financial services company B&CE, the event is an opportunity for people of all ages to learn more about local employment and apprenticeship opportunities, brush up on interview skills or gain tips on job hunting.
As well as a range of local businesses and recruiters on display, including Virgin Atlantic Airways, the BC&E Group, South East Coast Ambulance and Niton99 Security, there are free seminars providing advice and support for those pursuing a new career, employment or apprenticeship scheme.
Gary Peters is Chief Executive of LoveLocalJobs.com. He said: “We are pleased to be at the event as we run the Manor Royal Jobs Board, that promotes local jobs online on behalf of the BID. Our seminar explains the latest trends for job seekers, provides tips on how to make the most of job boards and how to find a job. Even better, it is free to attend and promises to be a great event.”
Other topics that will be covered during the event include apprenticeships – what they are and how to find one; how to build your confidence and nurture a positive mindset; plus tips on how to succeed in an interview.
Open to the public, the event takes place on 17 May between 3.00pm to 8.00pm at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Langley Dr, Crawley RH11 7SX. There is no need to register; just come along for great advice.
Note: Manor Royal Companies may book a FREE stand to promote their company here.
