Skills and Recruitment Study
Manor Royal BID is partnering with Crawley Borough Council and Crawley College to explore recruitment challenges and skills gaps faced by businesses.

The aim is to identify a series of meaningful joint actions we can take to address the personnel needs of businesses.
For Manor Royal specifically the study will help inform the work of the BID, whether that be through the services we deliver ourselves (ie in transport, recruitment, training or facilities) or the way we work with others for the benefit of the businesses in Manor Royal and those they employ.
We are working with a company called The means to help us with this study and make recommendations. As part of their work they intend to survey businesses and carry out a series of interviews with businesses and stakeholders.
Oct 2018: Conduct background research, literature review and survey work.
Nov 2018: Deliver interim report and stakeholder presentations.
Dec 2018: Publish final report and recommendations
Jan 2019 (onwards): Partners and stakeholders act on the results
